APT has unveiled plans for the Ungolan Pavilion at its Mitchell Falls Wilderness Lodge, which will open by May this year. Built with the support of the local Kandiwal community, it features a fusion of indigenous and Australian design influences.
Facilities include a lounge, bar, library and dining areas, along with an Indigenous art gallery, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the local community.
The Mitchell Fall Wilderness Lodge offers 24 tented cabins with double or twin beds, all with ensuites. Included with every stay is a gourmet three course evening meal and breakfast.
Mitchell Falls Wilderness Lodge features on APT’s 4WD Kimberley Wilderness Adventures itineraries and can also be booked by self-drive visitors, with rates starting from $590 per couple, per night, twin share.
